Diabetes Mellitus

The diabetes mellitus is a metabolic disorder of several etiologies that share the phenotype of increased high blood glucose level (hyperglycaemia). It is characterized by chronic hyperglycaemia with impaired metabolism of carbohydrate, fat and protein caused due to defects in insulin secretion, utilization of glucose .
